Horseback riding is a sport where kids build confidence, make friends, and have lots of outdoor fun!

Spring Break Horse Camp at Guide N Gallop in Springville, UT, is on our equestrian facility.

Participation at our horseback riding day camp is an ideal way to start the journey of learning and enjoyment with horses. Our Spring Break camp is open to girls and boys ages 5 through 12.

On a typical day, campers team up with one of the farm’s gentle school horses or ponies and learn to care for their equine partner while socializing with other “horse-loving” kids. Daily riding lessons are carefully tailored to each camper’s riding ability. Beginners start safely on a lead line with an experienced counselor, then learn to steer and control their mount, ride independently, trot and post, and might eventually learn to canter. Every step along the way is exciting and fun.

Students show off their new skills in a riding demonstration for parents on Friday.

Kids learn horse anatomy and horse care between mounted rides, enjoy lunch and snacks,

and create equine-inspired arts & crafts outdoors.
